The 31st International Conference on Health Promoting Hospitals took place in Malmö, Sweden, from 20–22 May 2026 under the theme “Creating Sustainable Healthcare Systems to Promote Health, Equity and Resilience in Times of Global Crises.” Marking the 40th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, the conference focused on health equity, mental health, digital innovation, ethical use of technology, and cross-sector partnerships to address global health challenges.
