Our Task Force and Working Groups gather to address issue- specific topics related to health promotion in the hospital and health services settings. Several previous teams of experts have worked together over the years to contribute technical, organizational, and scientific support:

Task Forces

HPH Task Force on Implementation and Monitoring of Standards

Many countries have been working extensively with implementation of the present HPH Standards for Health Promoting Hospitals and Health services. To facilitate implementation in HPH member hospitals and health services and for further development, documentation and dissemination of evidence-based health promotion a new Task Force on Implementation and monitoring was established.

Working Groups

HPH and Patient and Family Engaged Health Care

The HPH Working Group for Patient and Family Engaged Health Care developed a systematic strategy to involve patients, families and citizens in health promoting healthcare for the International Network of Health Promoting Hospitals and Health Services(HPH Network) by using both:

  • the New Haven Recommendations, a 2016 publication of

  • the HPH Network, and

  • the National Academy of Medicine 2017 publication:

  • Harnessing Evidence and Experience to Change Culture: A

  • Guiding Framework for Patient and Family Engaged Care
