Margareta Kristenson (MD, PhD) is specialist in Social and Preventive Medicine and in Family Medicine. She is professor in Social and Preventive Medicine at Linköping University

Ying-Wei Wang (Taiwan)

DrPH, MPH and MD. Director-General, Health Promotion Administration.

Ying-Wei Wang has a long research carreer in Family Medicine, Palliative Care, Community Health, Health Promotion, Medical Education.

Antonio Chiarenza (Reggio Emilia Romagna)

Antonio Chiarenza is the coordinator of the Emilia-Romagna HPH Network; Chair of the HPH Task Force on Migration, Equity and Diversity, Head of Research and Innovation Unit at the Azienda USL-IRCSS of Reggio Emilia, Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Christina Inesta Blasco (Catalonia)

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona , and in 1993 he obtained a doctorate cum laude at the Autonomous University of Barcelona . However, he has a master's degree in organizational development of healthcare companies and has directed his career towards the health administration.

Cristina also holds the position as  President of the Public Health Agency of Barcelona (ASPB)

Jürgen Pelikan (Intl. Conference Secretariat)

Jürgen M. Pelikan, Dr. phil. is Professor emeritus for sociology at University of Vienna /Austria and Director of the Competence Center for Health Promotion in Hospitals and Health Care at the Austrian Public Health Institute in Vienna / Austria. This center, besides doing research, is responsible for scientifically supporting the annual international HPH conferences, where he acts as chair of the scientific committee. He also is co-chairing the Action Network for Measuring Population and Organizational Health Literacy (M-POHL) of the European Health Information Initiative (EHII) of WHO-Europe. Jürgen Pelikan also leads the WG on “HPH and Health Literate Health Care Organizations (HPH & HLO)”of the international HPH Network

Hanne Tønnesen (Int. HPH Secretariat)

Professor, Director of the Clinical Helath Promotion Centre, CEO Int. HPH Secretariat, MD, PhD

​Hanne Tønnesen’s work centres on evidence-based clinical health promotion. She started her early career working with addiction and later, in 1996, she became a specialist of surgery. In 1999, she became Head of the Clinical Unit of Health Promotion at Bispebjerg Hospital in Copenhagen, and in 2003 she finished her dissertation on the increased risk of surgical complications among alcohol abusers. Since 2005 Hanne has been the CEO of the International HPH Secretariat. She is a professor at Lund University in Sweden and the University of Southern Denmark. Her research focuses on effective interventions and programs in the area of clinical health promotion regarding tobacco, alcohol, nutrition, physical inactivity and co-morbidity.
