HOW TO JOIN
To join HPH or renew HPH membership, the Letter of Intent is the official document that must be filled out and submitted for approval through the organisation's governance structure. This letter confirms the commitment of your hospital or health service to abide by the HPH Constitution and aim to implement health-promoting activities, strategies and policies.
An annual fee of 250 EURO per site, or a staffing-based fee, is payable once the application is approved. This fee is sent by the Regional Coordinating Institution (Victoria, Australia) to the International HPH Network Secretariat to support network functioning.
Each signed and approved Letter of Intent runs for a period of 4 years. Upon expiration, the letter must be renewed. Renewal is done by filling the letter out once more, but this time checking the "Renewing Member" box. Renewal of membership by this procedure serves to re-affirms the commitment to HPH and also it allows the Secretariat to note any changes in staff, contact details and so on.
The Letter of intent for both new and renewing members can filled out and submitted in two ways.
Normal Letter of Intent - CLICK HERE!
The Letter of Intent can be found and filled out in a downloadable form, which can then be filled out and submitted to the Regional Coordinator in Australia via post or email of a scanned copy.
Online Letter of Intent - CLICK HERE!
As of 2010, the Letter of Intent can now also be filled out and submitted online. As it is, however, an official document, a scan of the signature will still be required for legal reasons.
